At BlueHaven Sport, we take pride in the quality, performance, and craftsmanship of our products. To protect your investment, we offer a comprehensive warranty policy. Here’s what you need to know:
Kayak Warranty
- Hard-shell kayaks: Covered by a lifetime warranty (hull only).
- Inflatable kayaks: Covered by a 2-year warranty.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects that affect product performance. BlueHaven Sport is not responsible for any damage to people or belongings resulting from improper securing or use of the product.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse, neglect, or accidents
- Unauthorized modifications
- Rolling, clipping, or dragging the kayak
- Heat, extreme weather, or environmental conditions
- Excessive sun exposure
- Unauthorized repairs or structural alterations
- Improper storage, maintenance, or care
- Commercial, rental, or instructional use
- Sharp objects or rough surfaces
- Being towed by motorized or sail boats
- Placing objects in scupper holes
- Cosmetic imperfections such as minor surface pitting, color variations, or weld marks
How to Submit a Warranty Claim
- Provide proof of purchase
- Provide a detailed description of the issue
BlueHaven Sport will review the claim and respond within 3–5 business days. If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will repair or replace the product at no cost. If the original model is no longer available, a comparable product will be provided.
Shipping damage is not covered under this warranty. Customers should inspect products upon delivery. Learn more about our shipping policy.
Accessories Warranty
All accessories from BlueHaven Sport are covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. This does not cover damage from normal wear, misuse, accidents, or modifications.
Exclusions and Limitations
- This warranty does not cover third-party products or services
- This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser
- This warranty provides specific legal rights; additional rights may vary by state
